US RRT at Bike MS Event in Dublin Ohio
The Rapid Relief Team (RRT) was very pleased to be asked again to support the Bike MS Event in Dublin, Ohio on July 9th, 2016. The purpose of the ride was to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Research.
The National MS Society is a collection of passionate individuals who want to do something about MS. The Society helps each person address the challenges of living with MS, through their 50-state network of chapters. These chapters help people affected by MS by funding cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services that help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.
The ride, the Central Ohio Challenge, was a fully supported one-day ride from the National MS Society that started and finished at the Dublin Jerome High School in Dublin, Ohio. 35, 50, and 100 Mile Routes were available.
At this particular event, RRT supported by assisting with the setup of the event, manning the water stations and providing refreshments along the routes, handing out metals at the finish line, serving food which was catered for the event. At the end of the day they also assisted with the disassembling and clean-up process.
RRT viewed the day as a success and looks very much forward to working with The National MS Society in the future!
